Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device capable of granting a characteristic of a brushless motor with a sensor to an outer rotor-type sensorless brushless motor.SOLUTION: A motor drive device for an outer rotor-type sensorless brushless motor (hereinafter referred to simply as a motor) includes an externally attached magnetic sensor and a drive circuit unit. The externally attached magnetic sensor can detect a leakage magnetic flux of a permanent magnet arranged on an inner peripheral surface of a rotor of the motor, from the outside of the motor. The drive circuit unit controls rotation of the motor on the basis of the motor's control signal input to the drive circuit unit and feedback of the externally attached magnetic sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
