Title:
MOTOR-DRIVEN POWER STEERING CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62175263
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To allow steering force control capable of following the steering speed of a handle thoroughly and with a good feeling by controlling a motor for obtaining an auxiliary steering force based on a conduction ratio in response to the difference between the acceleration/deceleration of the torque detection value and the acceleration of the steering angle. CONSTITUTION:When a handle is operated, a conduction ratio is calculated 101 based on a steering torque detection value detected by a torque sensor 6 and a vehicle speed value from a vehicle speed sensor 113, and a restoring conduction ratio is calculated 104 based on this vehicle speed value and a steering angle value from a steering angle sensor 10. These conduction ratios are selectively sent to a PID control circuit 105 by a restoring force switching circuit 104 via the output of a neutral detecting circuit 102, and an assist/brake switching circuit 106 is controlled by the output of the circuit 105. The circuit 106 is switched and controlled by the output of a deceleration calculating circuit 103, and the calculating circuit 103 judges whether to set to an assist mode or a brake mode based on the difference between the acceleration of the steering angle and the acceleration/deceleration of the torque value.
