Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven riding cart, enabling storage in a compact manner and easy carrying to be used.
SOLUTION: This motor-driven riding cart is formed to run by wheels 1 driven to rotate by an electric motor. A front car body 3 including a front wheel 1a and an operating handle 2 and a rear car body 5 including a rear wheel 1b and a driver's seat 4 are formed as a separate body. A pair of parallel slide bars 6 are fitted to the rear end part of the front car body 3, and a rack 7 is provided along each slide bar 6. A pair of parallel guide rails 8 where the slide bars 6 are slidably inserted are fitted to the rear car body 5, which is provided with a gear 9 meshing with the rack 7. The gear 9 is turned to move the rack 7, and the slide bar 6 is slid to approach and separate the front car body 3 and the rear car body 5 to and from each other. With the front car body 3 and the rear car body 5 separated from each other, a step board 10 is removably mounted on the slide bar 6.
