Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driven universal head in which the manufacturing man-hours are reduced and the cost is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The universal head is provided with a 1st motor 5, a rotation reciprocating motion conversion mechanism 6, a slide lever 7 driven reciprocatingly in the lengthwise direction, a reciprocating rock motion conversion mechanism 8, a mount head 4, and a rotary pipe 10 to which the slide lever 7 is inserted freely slidably and driven by using a 2nd motor 9 as a power source. A support member 11 supporting in rock free a shaft member 23 supporting the mount head 4 around a shaft center L1 is fixed to a tip of the rotary pipe 10. The slide lever 7 and the rotary pipe 10 are respectively selected alternatively and composed in such a way that the length is freely changed. A circumferential groove 24 is provided around a shaft center L2 to a tip of the slide lever 7. A bracket 35 having a projection 25 freely slidably inserted into the circumferential groove 24 is provided projectingly to the mount head 4.
