Abstract:
To provide a motor driving apparatus capable of preventing vibrations of a stepping motor from being generated without varying revolution speed of the stepping motor, and to provide an image forming apparatus and an excitation frequency control method thereof.SOLUTION: A motor driving apparatus comprises a stepping motor provided with a rotational shaft that rotates based on a drive frequency, and a drive control unit that controls an excitation frequency for constant-current control of the stepping motor. The drive control unit changes the excitation frequency with time, based on revolution speed of the stepping motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
