Abstract:
To provide a motor or a generator that can make an air gap between a stator core and a rotor small and that can prevent the occurrence of eddy currents in the stator core, in a motor or a generator structured, in such a way that a coil can directly be cooled with coolant paths formed around the coil.
A partition wall 10 that defines coolant paths 11 on the outside circumference of a coil 4, formed on the outside circumference of a stator core 3, is formed by a molded core. The partition wall 10 is mounted on mounting parts 1A, 1B of a cylindrical shape provided on a casing 1 via vibration- proof members 14.
