PURPOSE: To enable take-off by oneself with a simple device by providing a supporting member for supporting a canopy hangingly in the easily removed state at the rear prior to taxiing, and using a propeller as a means for providing a truck with ground running force and also thrust force during flight.
CONSTITUTION: In the take-off device of a motor paraglider formed of a radio controlled drive vehicle, a canopy 10 is suspended in the easily removed state from the tip of a support stand 15 through a hook 16 prior to take-off. In this case, the canopy 10 is supported in the lateraly spread state. The control radio wave sent by remote control operation is received by an antenna 26 to operate a small size engine 23 and to provide a truck 22 with forward thrust force by the rotation of a propeller 24. When taxiing is started by the travel of the truck 22, a line 11 is tensed, the canopy 10 comes off the support stand 15 receiving travel wind pressure, and air with wind force is led in from an intake 13, so that the canopy 10 is swollen into wing shape to generate lift, and with only about 2m run from a spot, the whole drive unit 20 is levitated.
