To provide a motor wherein the output torque in low-speed revolution is increased and the efficiency in high-speed revolution is enhanced.
The motor 100 includes a main stator 110, a rotor 200 in which eight first permanent magnets 210 and eight second permanent magnets are disposed, and an auxiliary stator 300 on which auxiliary stator coils 310 are wound. Each of the eight first permanent magnets 210 is so disposed that its own magnetic flux is linked with the main stator 110. Each of the eight second permanent magnets 220 is so disposed that its own magnetic flux becomes leakage flux inside the rotor 200. When the auxiliary stator coils 310 are excited based on the operating state of the motor 100, the magnetic flux of the second permanent magnets 220 is linked with the main stator 110.
