Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive motor with electromagnetic brake, capable of preventing an erroneous operation of a magnetic sensor.

The motor with electromagnetic brake includes an electromagnetic brake 1 for fixing a rotor shaft 5 at non-excitation and releasing the fixed rotor shaft at excitation; a counter load side bracket 2 made of a non-magnetic material and provided so as to contact the surface of a counter load side of the electromagnetic brake 1; a counter load side bearing 4, made of a magnetic material and provided between the rotor shaft 5 and the counter load side bracket 2 to rotatably support the rotor shaft 5; a detector 3, provided on the counter load side of the counter load side bracket 2 to detect the position of the rotating direction of the rotor shaft 5 by using a magnetic sensor 3a; and a magnetic shielding plate 13 made of a magnetic material, provided in the inside of the counter load side bracket 2 between the electromagnetic brake 1 and the magnetic sensor 3a, and is provided so as to come into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the counter load side bearing 4.
