PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally expandable fireproof cover member 1 capable of reducing the trouble of refractory treatment.SOLUTION: A thermally expandable fireproof cover member 1 is used for performing refractory treatment of a motor 2 which is an object to be treated. The thermally expandable fireproof cover member 1 is formed of a resin composition at least a part of which contains thermally expandable graphite and includes: a cylindrical body 5 enclosing the periphery of the motor 2; and a connection fixing portion 6 capable of connecting and fixing the cylindrical body 5 to a body portion 3 of the motor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
