Abstract:

To reduce electromagnetic noise at the frequency near the carrier frequency, during the PWM drive in a motor of centralized winding which is used for a compressor of air conditioner and electric refrigerator or the like.

This motor comprises an almost annular yoke 16, a stator 10, including a plurality of teeth 12 provided in the radius direction at the internal circumference of the yoke 16, a coil formed with the centralized winding of wire to the teeth 12, an almost cylindrical-shape rotor 80 provided opposed to the teeth 12 and a ring 21 inserted with pressure to or supported through engagement with the inner circumferential part in the single or both sides of the end part in the axial direction of the stator 10. The ring 21 relaxes deformation of a stator iron core 11 due to the force in the radial direction working on the internal circumferential part of the stator 10 and reduces electromagnetic noise.
