To provide a motor arranged such that required output characteristics can be attained easily.
The motor body 1 is provided with two independent windings U1-W1 and U2-W2 for each phase of U, V, W. Connecting parts A-I of these windings and two Amp connecting terminals AT1 and AT2 are also provided. A motor of star-connection system or delta-connection system, where the windings of respective phases are connected in series or parallel, is obtained through selective connection of the connecting parts A-I. A motor of star-connection or delta-connection, substantially constituting two motors, can be attained by connecting the Amp connecting terminals AT1 and AT2, respectively, with Amps and selecting connection of the connecting parts A-I.Six types of motor having different output characteristics can be attained by selecting the connection system and altering the number of Amps being used. A motor having optimal output characteristics can be attained depending on a machine using that motor by simply selecting connection of the connecting parts.
