To provide a motor which can perform the radial positioning of a brush holder simply and surely.
The motor 10 is equipped with a tubular yoke 11 where a magnet 13 is fixed to the inner perimetrical face 11e, a cover 20 which is fixed to the open end 11c of this yoke 11, a synthetic resin-made brush holder 30 which is accommodated in the cover 20 and where a circular through hole 31a to allow a commutator 17 to pass through is made at the center, and brushes 34 which are accommodated freely of rising and sinking in the brush storages 32 and 32 which are made at least a pair to catch the through hole 31a of the brush holder. Herein, in the brush holder 30, a pair of engaging recesses 33 and 33 consisting of ribs 33a projected annularly is made in positions catching the through hole 31a, and at the inner face of the cover 30, a locking projection 21e is made in a position opposed to each engaging recess 33, and the brush holder 30 is positioned to the cover 20 by fitting each locking projection 21e in each engaging recess 33.
