To provide a cover member that lowers the necessary rigidity in order to solve the problem that when bearing members are attached to a cover member, a large load is exerted on the cover member, thus becoming necessary to enhance the rigidity of the cover member.
A motor 1 includes: a stator 32 fixed to an outer peripheral surface of a bush 31; a lidded substantially cylindrical rotor holder 221 fixed to a shaft 21l; an attachment plate 13; and a cover member 12. The attachment plate 13 is made of metal, has a planar shape extending outward in a radial direction from a lower end of the bush 31, and includes an attachment part 131 which is used for attachment to an attachment object. The cover member 12 is made of metal, and has a lidded substantially cylindrical shape for covering the rotor holder 221. A lower end of a cylindrical part of the cover member 12 is attached to the attachment plate 13. The cover member 12 includes a cylindrical bearing holding part 123 around a central axis at a middle part of a lid part. One bearing member 15 is fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the bearing holding part 123, and the other bearing member 16 is fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the bush 31.
