A motor comprises a rotor core (31) that is longer than a stator core (21) in an axial direction and has, in its at least one of ends in the axial direction, a non-facing portion that does not face the stator core (21). The rotor core (31) is separated into a first rotor core (31a) including the whole of the non-facing portion or including only a part of an end side in the axial direction of the non-facing portion, and a second rotor core (31b) adjacent to a first rotor core (31a). A skew is provided between the first rotor core (31a) and the second rotor core (31b) so that the first rotor core (31a) is positioned in advance of the second rotor core (31b) in a rotation direction.
