Title:
MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3907635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor not using a jacket in which the rotary shaft of a rotor is aligned with the axis of a bearing without requiring integral machining.
SOLUTION: The motor 1 comprises a rotor 4 having a rotary shaft 9, a stator 5 covering the outer circumference of the rotor 4 annularly through a predetermined distance, a housing 3 for protecting at least the axial end face of the stator 5, a bearing 2 for supporting the rotary shaft 9 rotatably, and a bearing fixing member 7 for fixing the bearing 2 to the housing 3 and installing it on the outer circumferential surface of the rotary shaft wherein a member 11 for adjusting the axial thickness is fixed between the bearing fixing member 7 and the housing 3. Axial thickness between the bearing fixing member 7 and the housing 3 is adjusted by clamping the adjusting member 11 between the housing 3 and the bearing fixing member 7 and then the rotary shaft 9 of the rotor 4 is aligned with the axis of the bearing 2 by aligning the axes of the bearing 2 and the housing 3.
