Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent damages of motorcycle body components and the chain due to striking of the chain and generation of abnormal noises even when the chain sways in the transverse direction, reduce the amplitude of the chain in the transverse direction, and stabilize the chain traveling passage.
CONSTITUTION: In a chain buffer 18 to cover a swing arm 4 to support the rear wheel and prevent the chain 8 for driving the rear wheel from striking the swing arm 4, a sheltering part 25 adjacent to the motorcycle center side relative to the chain 8 is provided.
