Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a disposal device compact and make the secondary waste in the condition of being easily disposed of.
SOLUTION: Activated carbon is mixed into a waste liquid collecting tank 17 filled with radioactive waste liquid containing surfactant. Thereafter, the radioactive waste liquid is supplied into an activated carbon separation and drying device 22, and the activated carbon is separated from the radioactive waste liquid. The waste liquid separated from the activated carbon is discharged into outer environment through a sample tank. The separated activated carbon is dried in the activated carbon separation and drying device 22, led into an incinerator, and burned. Because the separated activated carbon is dried, the activated carbon as secondary waste is made into the condition of being easily disposed of, namely the condition of being easily reduced in volume by incineration or the like. Further, because removal of activated carbon from radioactive waste liquid and drying of the separated activated carbon are executed in the activated carbon separation and drying device, the disposal device of radioactive waste liquid can be made compact.
