Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a motorcycle of lightweight and slim structure, with which the center of gravity is sunk and mass concentration is enhanced.
CONSTITUTION: A body frame 1 is formed from a main pipe 7, down-tube 8, and seat supporting pipe 9 so that the side view assumes approx. triangular, and an engine 15 is suspended under the down-tube 8 outside of the triangle of body frame 1. In the rear part of the inside of the triangle in proximity to the engine 15, a fuel tank 17 and air cleaner 18 are arranged in plane alongside the surface in the center across the motorcycle width.
