Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish easy and simple mounting of a column for a provisionally erected handrail in the desired position in the longitudinal direction on the side frame of provisionally erected stairs without applying any preparatory processing for example boring to the side frame.
SOLUTION: A mounting device is to mount a column 5 of a provisionally erected handrail on the side frame 3 of provisionally erected stairs, wherein an upper clamping member 10 to grasp the oversurface of the side frame 3 is fixed to the bottom of the column 5, and under the clamping member, a lower clamping member 11 to grasp the undersurface of the side frame 3 is pivoted in such a way as capable of opening and shuting with respect to the upper clamping member 10. A fixing member fixes the two clamping members 10 and 11 to each other.
