Abstract:
To provide a mounting device to hold a workpiece for working the workpiece by an induction heating quenching device.
The workpiece to be worked by the induction heating quenching device is positioned between upper and lower centers 38, 40. A procedure in using this mounting device comprises placing the workpiece on the lower center, pressing an upper part of the workpiece between two holding blocks, separating the blocks and forming a clearance by compressing a coil spring of each sub-assembly until the work piece is properly aligned, and lowering the upper center to a predetermined position at this point of time.
