PURPOSE: To readily and surely mount an element member to a tubular storage body by interposing an elastic body between a storage body side locking portion and locking parts to which the element member is mounted, and connecting the locking portion and the locking parts together by means of engagement of hooks.

CONSTITUTION: In an air cleaner having a tubular element member 12 and a tubular storage body 13 capable of storing the member 12 therein, a locking portion 18 is connected to the storage body 13 via a bridge 19 and is pushed into the communication hole 12C of the element member 12 and a hook 20 is provided at the end of the locking portion 18. Locking parts 21 are provided which comprise a disk-shaped lock plate 14B in which a holding portion 14a for holding one end portion of the element member 12 and a blocking portion 14b for blocking the opening 12B of the communication hole 12C are formed, and a hook 22 capable of being attached and detached to/from the hook 20 via a lock spring 24 is provided at the center of the lock plate 14B which is opposite to the locking portion 18. The locking parts 21 can be put in a turning movement via a protrusion 23 provided on the outside thereof.
