PURPOSE: To mount an airbag module surely without shifting the arranging position of a pillar-to-pillar member downward and not to make a mounting workability and an appearance worse without such a problem as increasing a crush load on a part with which the knee of a crew is brought in contact.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate member 9 having a recessed part 11 opening upward, is arranged integrately on the intermediate part in a car width direction of a pillar-to-pillar member 5 whose both end parts are connected to a front side pillar and also extending in the car width direction in an instrument panel. Meantime, the bottom part of an airbag module 6 is fixed on the intermediate member 9 so that it may be insert in the recessed part of the intermediate member 9.
