Title:
MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF SPEAKER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3385825
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a speaker for a vehicle capable of reducing dead space, improving assembling workability, and having a good looking appearance.
SOLUTION: This structure comprises a pipe 23 into which a left harness 21 is inserted; left and right speaker mounting boards 25, 26 which are held by side walls at both ends of the pipe 23 and mount right and left speakers thereon; and a pair of room mounting boards 31 retained at both the ends of the mounting boards 25, 26 in a manner to substantially cross the pipe 23 at right angles and supported onto a vehicle body. Since the speakers 5, 6 are fixed to the vehicle body by means of one pipe 23 connecting them, a space between the speakers 5, 6 is made wider than the conventional method using two shaft members, resulting in improvement in getting-on/off characteristics and generation of no sense of oppression in occupants inside a vehicle. The left harness 21 is stored in the pip 23 and thus no interference with other members is generated, leading to improvement in assembling workability and appearance.
