To provide an attaching construction for a projected window capable of aligning a fixed window and an opening/closing window to be almost flush with each other without impairing a water draining function, diversification in architectural design, crime prevention and safety.
An opening 32 is formed between a plurality of frames 10 supporting a fixed window 1, and a plurality of Shoji screens 60 for the opening/closing window are installed at the outer peripheral edge portion of the opening/closing window 50 for the opening portion 32 between a plurality of frames 10 supporting the fixed window 1. A cover gasket 15 is fitted to an end portion at the surface side of an inner wall 12 of each frame 10, a plurality of the Shoji screens 60 of the window are respectively bent and a level difference portion 64 is formed, on the upper surface 65 of the level difference portion projected outwardly of a plurality of Shoji screens 60 of the projected window, a rear surface peripheral edge portion of the first opening/ closing window 51 is supported. And on the outer surface of the bent sides of the each Shoji screen 60 of each window, a batten 69 fitted to the outer peripheral edge portion of the first window 51 is fitted in, at the rear surface portion of each batten 69, a batten weather strip 71 in contact with a cover gasket 15 is fitted, and the surface portion of each batten 69 is covered with a lip gasket 72 in contact with the surface outer peripheral edge portion of the first window 51.
