Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body distance detection system capable of detecting the distance to a movable body located at a small distance, and of detecting the distance to a relatively stopping movable body without being influenced by a transmission signal from another movable body distance detection system.
SOLUTION: This distance detection system 10 is so structured that an output signal having a variable frequency is outputted; electromagnetic waves having the same frequency as that of the outputted output signal are radiated to a propagation medium present between a man M and itself; the amplitude of a standing wave formed between the detection device 10 and the man M and formed in the propagation medium between the detection device 10 and the man M is detected; a detection signal corresponding to the amplitude of the detected standing wave is outputted; the outputted detection signal and the frequency information of the output signal are inputted to form a detection signal function showing the value of the detection signal to the frequency of the output signal is formed; and the distance between the detection system 10 and the man M is calculated from its cycle.
