To save labour of laying and removing a protection sheet by providing hydraulic motors on both ends of a frame installed along a blade of a bulldozer and winding the sheet connected to a drive shaft of the hydraulic motor free to connect to and disconnect from it.
A frame 5 is provided through a pair of stansions 3 and a stay 4 along an upper edge of a blade 2 of a bulldozer 1. Hydraulic motors using a hydraulic power source of the bulldozer 1 as its hydraulic power source are respectively provided on both ends of the frame 5, and they are devised free to operate separately from the bulldozer 1. A cage 10 is moved to the neighbourhood of an end edge of a laying surface G through the blade 2 at the time of laying. Thereby, an end edge of a sheet S is stopped by a check pin P. Thereafter, the sheet S is laid by revolving the cage 10 in the winding-out direction C by the hydraulic motor and moving the bulldozer 1 in the backward, that is, the winding-out moving direction E. At the time of removal, the sheet S is wound up on a cage main body 11 in the opposite way of the aforementioned.
