Abstract:
To hold a 4WD/2WD condition by a position holding function of a movement operating mechanism, even when an actuator is stopped.
This device comprises a differential case 5 driven to rotate by drive power of an engine, rotational case 7 arranged able to relatively rotate with the differential case 5, differential mechanism 9 distributing rotation of the rotational case 7 to a wheel side, interrupting mechanism 11 provided between the cases 5, 7, and a movement operating mechanism 1 having a position holding means 65, 67 interruptedly operating the interrupting mechanism 11 and holding an interrupted condition of the interrupting mechanism 11 when operation of an actuator 63 is stopped.
