PURPOSE: To make a smooth movement and to apply no unreasonable force mutually by making either one part of an upper moving mechanism or the moving mechanism of the robot side for a wall face work as a main moving mechanism and synchronizing the other part with following up to the main moving mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation control by an inverter 82 is performed with an upper moving mechanism of the two moving mechanisms of the upper moving mechanism of a cable and winder 16 necessary for the movement of the robot for a wall face work and the moving mechanism of the wall face working robot itself, as a main moving mechanism, and the AC servomotors 24, 33, 42, 62 of the moving mechanism of the wall face work robot side are followed up by performing the torque control by a current limit. Consequently this robot can be smoothly moved.
