Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a movie film from which audio data can accurately be reproduced without being effected by a longitudinal or lateral flaw on the movie film.
CONSTITUTION: For each compressing process block formed by providing audio data, recorded in 8-bit units in the travel direction of the film, successively at a right angle to the film travel direction, C1 parity is added and for every specific number of compressing process blocks, C2 parity is added. For each compressed block, an error correction is performed with the C1 parity and for every plural compressed block, an error correction is made with the C2 parity.
