Abstract:
To reduce the time required to create an environmental map of a moving body.SOLUTION: A moving body 10 includes; an external sensor 101 that periodically scans the environment and outputs sensor data for each scan; an internal sensor 103 for detecting a moving distance or a moving speed of the moving body; a control circuit 105 and a storage device 107 connected to the external sensor and the internal sensor. Among the sensor data output from the external sensor, the scanned sensor data which is selected according to the moving distance or the moving speed detected by the internal sensor is stored in the storage device as map creation data by the control circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
