Abstract:
To provide a moving body that can suppress deterioration in mounting density of a battery in a battery case.SOLUTION: A moving body 1 comprises: first battery modules 2A and second battery modules 2B in which a plurality of battery cells 21 are laminated in a first direction; a battery case 3 housing the battery modules 2A and 2B; a charger 4 that charges the battery modules 2A and 2B; loads 6A and 6B; and a battery control device 7 that controls the battery modules 2A and 2B. The first battery modules 2A and the second battery modules 2B are arranged in parallel in the first direction and are electrically connected in parallel to the loads 6A and 6B and the charger 4. The battery control device 7, when either of the battery modules 2A and 2B are charged, prohibits the other of the battery modules 2B and 2A from being charged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
