To provide a moving handrail of a man conveyor capable of largely reducing travel resistance, and capable of preventing contamination of the periphery by used fiber.
The moving handrail 9 comprises a body resin part 17, base cloth 20 and sliding cloth 21. The body resin part 17 presents a cross-sectional C shape, and is formed in an endless shape. The base cloth 20 is provided along the lengthwise direction of the body resin part 17 on an inside surface of the body resin part 17. The sliding cloth 21 is provided on the base cloth 20 so as to cover a part of a surface of the base cloth 20. The sliding cloth 21 is also woven so that an exposed part 24a of the warp 24 is not mutually adjacent on the surface. Easily wearable predetermined fiber having a lower friction characteristic than the fiber for constituting the base cloth 20, is used as the warp 24.
