Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an editing operation by performing editing in low image quality as it is in an initial stage and using the partial images of high image quality at the time of approaching completion at the time of using the data base of the partial images and editing moving images.
SOLUTION: A partial image number 1 is a background image for instance, and at the time of performing encoding, the already encoded image of the same partial image is turned to the reference image of prediction. The partial image number 2 is the low image quality human body image of a segmented human body for instance, an edge part is notched, a frame rate is low and movement is not smooth. For the partial image number 3, an object is the same as the partial image number 2, however, at the time of decoding, the decoding image of the partial image number 2 is processed as the reference image and a space resolution and the frame rate become high. In the initial stage of moving image editing, the image quality of the partial image number 2 is sufficient and restoration is quick. By performing decoding by using the partial image number 3 in the last stage of editing, the smooth synthetic moving images of the high image quality are obtained.
