Title:
MOVING ROBOT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3902551
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving robot through a simple mechanism so as to realize a low cost, which retains a posture easily even on the inclined floor, free of dirt and damage on the outside surface even if it is used for a long period of time, and optimum for domestic use.
SOLUTION: Three wheel units 4a, 4b, and 4c which can be rotatably driven independently are installed on a moving robot so that the outline is projected from a main body unit 2, and the rotary shafts 3a, 3b, and 3c of the wheel units are constituted so that projectors of the rotary shafts on a moved surface 8 make an approximately equal angle. Moreover, the main body unit has installed therein an output device, an external sensor, a memory part in which a program that executes a predetermined process corresponding to the detection information of the external sensor, and a controlling part that decides the output content and the rotary driving content based on the detection information and the program, so that the the output device and the rotary drive device are instructed to execute.
