To provide a moving toy capable of swinging a swinging body by a motor with a small capacity.

This moving toy is provided with a base installed with the motor, a figure main body attached to the base, the swinging body constituted swingably around a shaft extending horizontally, and a power transmission mechanism transmitting a power generated by the motor to the swinging body; is so constituted that the figure main body is moved by swinging the swinging body by a force applied to the swinging body through the power transmission mechanism; and is characterized in that the swinging body is provided with a weight for reducing starting torque.
