To provide a moving type housing apparatus which runs smoothly minimizing the generation of vibration at a housing part in the transmission of a driving force from a chain.

A moving type housing apparatus has an endless rail 1 with a curved part 2 and a straight part 3, a housing part 5 provided with front and rear wheels 7 and 7 running on the rail 1, an endless chain 9 formed free to encircle along the rail 1 and a link device 15 for inking the chain 9 and the housing part 5 and the housing part 5 is made to run on the rail 1 with the driving of the chain 9. In this case, the link device 15 has front and rear links 19 and 19 for inking the chain 9 and the housing part 5 pivotally and each one end part of the front and rear links 19 and 19 is rotatably coupled to the chain 9 through a pivot part 18 coaxially therewith. The other end parts of the rinks 19 and 19 are movably coupled relatively to the housing part 5 through a slot link 17.
