Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a MRI device which can output an alarm by forecasting a gradient magnetic field coil temperature under scan execution before scanning is started.
CONSTITUTION: This MRI device to detect RF energy discharged from an atomic nucleus excited by being applied a high frequency rotary magnetic field is provided with a temperature detecting means 41 to detect the temperature of a gradient magnetic field coil and a scan parameter setting means 11 to set a scan parameter for the scan of MRI. Further, a temperature estimating means 12 is provided to estimate the temperature of the gradient magnetic field coil at the time of scan execution by referring to the scan parameter set by the scan parameter setting means 11 and the temperature of the gradient magnetic field coil detected by the temperature detecting means 41, and an alarm output means 13 is provided to output the alarm concerning the scan execution corresponding to the temperature at the time of scan execution estimated by the temperature estimating means 12.
