PURPOSE: To maintain the dissolving power and SN ratio and confirm the need of remeasurement during measurement by dividing a phase encode into plural parts and carrying out measurement intermittently for each divided phase encode and carrying out display, successively integrating the NMR signals which are measured intermittently.

CONSTITUTION: For eight inclined magnetic fields Gy(Gy1-Gy8 and gy1>Gy2>...>Gy8), two divisions are formed in the order of the smaller inclined magnetic fields, and Gy3-Gy6 are in the first division sequence, and Gy1, Gy2, Gy7 and Gy8 are in the second division sequence. The measurement for the first division is carried out at first and the measurement for the second division is carried out at last. During the photographing for the second division, if an operator detects the anomaly such as the movement of an inspected body from a displayed image among the images in the second division, and the need of measurement is judged, a measurement intercepting switch is selected to intercept photographing, and the remeasurement is carried out. Repetition is carried out only for the second division, and the measurement time can be reduced. Though, in the first division sequence, the images having the low dissolving power are formed, reconstitution is carried out by integrating the data obtained in the second division sequence, and an image having the high dissolving power can be obtained.
