Abstract:

To suppress an eddy current generated around the magnetic circuit of MRI equipment which is one cause of deviation from an ideal magnetic field gradient waveform and causes an image distortion, strength loss, ghosting, signal loss and spectrum distortion.

This MRI equipment is characterized in forming a high-resistance layer, which has the resistance of 10 times or more of that of a mother phase and Vickers hardness of smaller than that of the mother phase, in a part or all of a powdery surface showing ferromagnetism whose mother phase includes steel or cobalt, along one part of the surface into a layered shape, and using the ferromagnetism molded of the powder for a part of a magnetic circuit.
