Abstract:
To provide a muffling device having an effect for muffling sound of a low frequency zone, in which installation work can be smoothly and safely conducted.
An installation part 37 is continuously formed on the machine room side of a frame body 24 provided on a rope through hole 20 in a machine room 10. A muffling rope duct 30 comprising an inlet pipe 32, an expanded pipe 31 of which horizontal cross sectional area is larger than that of the other pipe, and a tail pipe 33 is installed on the frame body. The inlet pipe 32 is inserted into the rope through-hole 20 for enabling installation from the machine room side.
