PURPOSE: To provide a mulching implement which can surely extend a mulching material for insulation on the levee face with a simplified inexpensive structure and easy handleability.

CONSTITUTION: This mulching implement is provided with the handle 1 for aligning its running direction, the frame 2 which is fixed to the lower end of the handle 1, a couple of supporters 8 which rotatably support the insulating mulching material 6 in a roll form, and a couple of press rollers 3 which are rotatably set to the shaft of the frame 2 and press the insulating mulching material 6 at both edges in the widthwise direction.
