Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a multi-arm robot device having a pair of left and right arms, which is compact and which can operated in a wide range.
CONSTITUTION: A robot arm 25 which can run on a rail 22 secured to a crosswise beam 212 of a support column 21 which is formed in a T-like shape, is journalled the rail 22 through the intermediary of a base 23. The robot arm 25 is composed of a first arm 251, a second arm 252 and a wrist part 253, the rotary axis of the first arm 251 being orthogonal to the rotary axis of the second arm 252 so that the first and second arms 251, 252 can be turnably rotated.
