PURPOSE: To change the lying direction of a patient and prevent a bedsore by interposing air bags which has injection/discharge holes for air between a substrate and a top plate, and lifting the upper half body part and knee parts by a specific number of air bags and the right and left sections independently by the remaining air bags which are connected by a specific number respectively.
CONSTITUTION: The air bags 3 are interposed between the substrate 1 and top plate 2, which is divided into three sections I, II, and III and connected by hinges 4 and 4', and 5 and 5'. The sections I, II, and III are divided into three sections (a), (b), and (c) and the top plate 2 is sectioned into a-I, a-II, a-III, b-I, b-II, and b-III, and c-I, c-II, and c-III. Six air bags 6-11 are installed between the substrate 1 and top plate 2. When air is admitted to the air bags 6, the upper half body of the patient is raised, and when air is admitted to the air bags 7 and 10, a bar 14 is lifted to move up the sections a-I, b-I, and c-I, and a-II, b-II, and c-II, so that the patient can turn over in the direction of the section III.
