To provide a polyfunctional compound which is polyfunctional and lowly viscous, shows a high effect of dilution with a lowly viscous monomer, namely, the capability of being mixed with a larger amount of a polyfunctional compound, has sufficient flow characteristics even when diluted with a small amount of a diluent and can give a tough cured product.
This compound is one prepared by reacting an aminic dendrimer (A) having 2-128 primary or secondary amino groups at molecular terminals with at least one compound (F) selected from the group consisting of vinyl- containing carboxylic acid compounds, (B) vinyl-containing carboxylic alkyl ester compounds (C), vinyl-containing organic halides (D) and vinyl-containing epoxy groups (E) and terminated with a terminal group represented by the formula: -X-F-CR1=CHR2 (wherein X is a bonding group formed as a result of the reaction of a terminal amino group derived from dendrimer A with carboxyl group, a carboxylate ester group, an acid halide group or an epoxy group derived from compound F; F is a residue of compound F; and R1 and R2 are each hydrogen or methyl).
