To provide a multi-color impression printing device which can precisely perform a printing registration process, even when meshy cells are formed in the surface of each plate cylinder, and a multi-color impression printing method.
Each printing means 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d puts first register marks 40a1, 40b1, 40c1, 40d1 and second register marks 40a2, 40b2, 40c2 and 40d2 to a printing substrate W. The first register marks 40a1, 40b1, 40c1 and 40d1 have edges 41a, 41b, 41c and 41d extending in the feed direction respectively, and the second register marks 40a2, 40b2, 40c2 and 40d2 have edges 42a, 42b, 42c and 42d extending in the width direction respectively. In addition, the printing registration process is performed so that each feed direction edge 41a, 41b, 41c and 41d and each width direction edge 42a, 42b, 42c and 42d can be positioned in a straight line.
