Abstract:
To provide a multi-component filter for smoking articles and to provide a smoking articles containing the same.
A multi-component filter (4) for smoking articles comprises a lip side segment (12) and a flavor discharging segment (14) on the upstream side of the lip side segment (12). The flavor discharging segment (14) comprises leaves of plants and a plasticizer for filter. The multi-component filter (4), preferably, comprises a rod side segment (32) comprising filter components on the upstream of the flavor discharging segments. Preferably, at least one or both of the lip side segment (12) and the rod side segment (32) comprises at least a liquid flavor. The rod side segment (32) may comprise an absorbent.
