PURPOSE: To improve cargo loading efficiency to a container ship by arranging a container spreader hanging/supporting load trolley transversely movably supported in the lateral direction in a shuttle frame of the portal frame upper part.
CONSTITUTION: A portal frame 10 self-travels in the lengthwise direction so as to stride over a container 3 by traveling tires 13 to stow the container 3 on the lateral side by a lateral directional movement of a shuttle frame 20 and a lengthwise directional movement of a container spreader hanging/ supporting road trolley 23 supported by this by hanging up a single container 3 by a container spreader 28. When a container mounting slave carrier is connected by a connecting arm after being-introduced between a pair of lower frames 12 of the portal frame 10, a single container 3 is mounted on it, and can be simultaneously carried by hanging up the other single container 3 by the spreader 28 to thus efficiently perform cargo handling work to a container ship.
