PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a cylinder head compact in a direction along an axial line of a cam shaft in a multi-cylinder engine in which an intake valve and a first spark plug arranged along an axial line of the cam shaft, and an exhaust valve and a second spark plug arranged along the axial line of the cam shaft are disposed on the cylinder head for each combustion chamber.
SOLUTION: A position at a center part at an upstream end of an intake port 40 provided on the cylinder head 22 through the intake valve provided to the combustion chamber, and a position of a center part at a downstream end of an exhaust port 41 provided on the cylinder head 22 through the exhaust valve provided to the combustion chamber are set to be the same in the direction along the axial line of the cam shaft.
