Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional switch device including an operation shaft capable of push-in operation, rotary operation and tilt operation, in which the number of components is reduced by enabling a single spring to serve as both the reset spring of the operation shaft during push-in operation and the reset spring of the operation shaft during tilt operation.SOLUTION: A multidirectional switch device includes an operation shaft 2 capable of push-in operation, rotary operation and tilt operation, and having a knob 1 at the upper end, and a housing 30 for supporting the operation shaft 2 to be pushable, rotatable and tiltable. In the housing 30, a slider 3 placed directly under the operation shaft 2, and depressed integrally when the operation shaft 2 is pushed in, a single coil spring 4 placed directly under the slider 3, always energizing the slider 3 upward, and always energizing the operation shaft 2 upward via the slider 3, and switch contacts 31a, 8 opened and closed electrically as the slider 3 moves up and down, are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
